How do you love another, the way you love your baby?   How could I every have enough room in my heart for two?   Thats right.. i'm pregnant!   It was a BIG surprise.   I am so worried I wont love my next baby as much as i love my dear kimber ann!   How is it possible to fit both kids.  Will i give them each everything they need? Will i love them both equally?  I hope I can.   I want to be the mom they both deserve!  I'm super excited, and nervous at the same time...   My little family is growing!

36 Week Update

So yesterday I was having some contractions and all the sudden i got a real bad dizzy spell.   I started seeing spots and got a real bad headache.   I called the on call dr. who told me to go in and get checked.  I went to labor and delivery to get checked.  They took my blood pressure and checked the baby.  The baby is fine which is the best news.. the worst news was that they sent me home without any answers as to why i am so dizzy.
Today i called my dr.s nurse, she was so helpful and explained everything to me which was nice.. i dont have a solution but i have an answer!   When they drew my blood and tested my urine last week my blood showed my iron levels are low.   My urine came back with a slight infection which i'll take antibiotics for.   The Iron levels are low which can attribute to my feeling dizzy and unstable.   Also she said near the end of pregnancy the levels of the hormone progesterone peak to a very high level.   A common side effect of this is dizzyness or lightheadedness.   Between the low levels of iron and the high levels of progesterone my body is very out of whack.. thus i'm seeing spots and very dizzy.
The solution is labor... which i can't really control, so i asked if it would be ok to start using evening primrose.   Its an herb that helps soften your cervix.   i have been given the permission to do so and i'm going to be optimistic that hopefully Kimber will make her grand appearance into the world in the next week or so.
The ultrasound came back normal, they still want to keep an eye on her since she is being so darn stubborn and doesn't want to move.   The dr has asked me to monitor her movements and he wants her to move about 10 times an hour.   Right now she moves about 2 times an hour so its not too hard to keep track.
Anyways here are the latest photos from the ultrasound.

36 weeks

More fun for me.... This last week I started feeling very dizzy and shaky and weak with a headache when I look around its like the room is shaking and spinning. I went to the dr today and they aren't sure what is causing these symptoms! I have also had a lot less fetal movement... All symptoms of preeclampsia test results will be back on Monday and that seems so far away! I feel awful and it's very hard to drive, without the fetal movements I am a nervous wreck! I can't wait to have this baby so I can see that she is safe! I'll update again when I get the test results

35 weeks

It's been a while! This pregnancy has been everything but easy and smooth! I shutter at the thought of what the delivery will be like! It makes me so grateful that I have been able to maintain this pregnancy! I love this tiny little miracle growing inside me more than words can express! Babies are always tiny miracles, but when your told you will never have kids, it's a bigger miracle! I have been having lots of Braxton hicks contractions lately! All or part of my mucous plug fell out a few weeks ago! The baby is head down in birthing position and has dropped! She is putting so much pressure on my bladder I should earn frequent flier miles to the bathroom! I am having many sharp pains in my pelvic bone, my lower back is killing me! Nothing sounds better than a hot tub and a massage! I have my 36 week appointment today and hopefully I will have started dialating! As much as I hate the pain and migraines and being sick all the time, I would do it again faster than a heartbeat! I can't wait to be a mother! This is something I have always wanted! I had a beautiful baby shower surrounded by the most amazing people! The gifts were beautiful and now I'm ready to have my daughter come into this world! If labor hasn't started by 38 weeks Scott and I are going to try to induce it slowly and naturally! I have a whole checklist of things to try! 1. The labor smoothie: a combination of rasberries, pineapple, mango, and kiwi blended up and then consumed! Yum!! 2. Accupressure: when gettin close to labor, it's said that if you get a real deep tissue footrub around your heels on your feet this could help contractions begin. 3. Prenatal massage: one of the best ways to naturally and safely induce labor is to relax. 4. Sex: the combination of a males fluids and a females fluids have a natural affect to encourage contractions! 5. Excercise: a simple walk can help bring on contractions! All of these ways are safe and natural and will only work if your body is close enough for labor to begin! This has been a long journey and a very hard journey, but I'm so glad I got the chance to come down this road and I wouldn't change a thing!

27 Weeks

Its been a while since I posted anything. Kimber is getting big, I feel like I'm huge lol Things were going really well, I have been throwing up again the past couple of days, not the best but at least she is growing and progressing.   i had to go into the hospital a couple days ago to get checked for a UTI which luckily i dont have one.   I am getting more nervous about going into labor.   My only comfort is having scott there by my side.   I can't wait to meet our daughter, i already love her so much and can't wait to actually see her and hold her and kiss her.   Things are going well with Scott and I.   We are getting married on april 1st which i'm super excited about.   We wont be having anything big, no wedding dress or pictures or anything due to lack of funds.   But thats ok, the important thing is i'm marrying my best friend and the love of my life.   He is my everything, and kimber too.   Life is so sweet, I couldn't be happier with my soon to be husband or my growing baby bump.  I feel so blessed i just dont know how i got so lucky.
Hopefully i'll start feeling better in the next few days (if not the next five minutes :))

20 and 21 weeks

Kimber looks good at my 20 week appointment she was measuring at 20 weeks and 5 days! Everything looked really good!! She is still a girl which is good!! My cravings have subsided until almost 22 weeks and now I want apples and ice cream, but not together! Her movements are getting a lot stronger and when she kicks I can see her kicks through my belly! It's a pretty amazing feeling!! I have had horrid migraines that I can't get to go away! The ligament pain really sucks and the pelvic bone pain! It's been painful! Not so fun! Nausea is completely gone, but now when I sneeze I pee a little, it's pretty awkward so I pee often to avoid that!

19 weeks

My belly is growing so big! I kinda like it! Not much new this week! Her movements are more routine now and getting stronger everyday! My cat was laying on my belly and she started to kick and every time she would his ears would go down! It's pretty fun! Not much morning sickness this week but I have been incredibly gassy and constipated which really sucks! I am feeling better now! I have my 20 weeks appointment on Wednesday where they will do another ultrasound and measure her bones and check her progress! I am hoping they will move the due date up a week or two! Guess we'll find out!
