15 weeks

I skipped a week! Nothing is new really next week we will know what the baby is and I'm so excited to find out!! My belly is getting quite round! The IV treatments are helping so much! I haven't thrown up in over a week which is super nice! The tenderness in my boobs is pretty much gone which is super nice!! I listen to the baby with a stethascope everyday! It's nice to hear the little thing moving around in there! I still think it is a boy but Scott thinks its a girl! At this time next week we will know!! I really can't wait!! I am so excited about my pregnancy and I hope and pray everyday that I will end up being a mommy to a happy healthy baby!! I am scared the baby won't like me and I'm nervous that I won't be the mom I should be but I look forward to this adventure!!

13 Weeks

I celebrated reaching my second trimester by being in the ER with severe dehydration.    Woo hoo.    I have been in and out of the hospital struggling with the most horrific morning sickness (probably not in the history of the world, but it sure did suck for me)  Baby is doing well still growing and making mama puke.   I have lost about 10 pounds and have eaten a few times since I started the IV hydration   I have to do two liters of hydration per day.   I am taking vitamins in the IV and phenergan as well for the nausea to try to help.   Its been a pain in the butt and Money is so tight and i'm probably going to lose the car and maybe the apartment, but at least the baby is doing fine!   Thats all that matters to me.

12 weeks continues

These last couple weeks have been really hard and are just getting harder! I have been in and out of the hospital with dehydration. The more I have learned about pregnancy the more this scares me! The baby can survive if I don't eat, but the baby can die if I het dehydrated! I have been diagnosed with severe morning sickness so I can't keep anything down! I haven't been able to go to work I haven't been able to leave the bed! It's been a very hard couple of weeks. We're going to talk to the doctor about doing home health so I don't have to go to the hospital anymore! They looked at the baby today and say that baby looks really good!! It was kicking its little legs and rolling over while we were looking at it! Too bad it is going to run out of space real soon! It is now about 3 inches from head to rump! We will find out in a little under three weeks what our precious little baby is! I can't wait and really hope we get past the super sick stage soon!

12 Weeks

If you look very carefully at this photo you will see the baby is sucking its little thumb.   Its hard to see because it turned out so blurry, but the baby's head is on the left side of the photo, on the right side you will see a tiny little foot and by its mouth its little thumb that it was sucking on.   

2nd Trimester

According to my doctor I am 12 weeks pregnant which means tomorrow is the first day of my second trimester! I had my 12 week appointment today and they couldn't find the baby's heartbeat which was quite the scare for me so they sent me down to ultrasound and they were able to find the baby which was sucking its thumb and wiggling its head and toes. The heart rate dropped from the ER visit at the ER visit it was 166 but today is was 156! It's so amazing to see it move around its definitely something I thought I'd never see! I am so happy about this baby and I already love it so much! I have had quite a bit of morning sickness and throwing up, my lower back and hips ache a lot! The breast tenderness isn't bad at all now which is a nice change! The newest development of my body is I have had terrible stretching and pulling in my belly and some serious constipation. The doctor has given me some ideas to help with the constipation! He says the pain and stretching is from my ligaments being pulled from the weight of my uterus. Things are looking really good which makes me very happy! I will upload a picture of the baby sucking it's thumb in a little bit. Also I find out what the baby is on December 19th which I am very excited for! Scott thinks its a girl and I'm saying its a boy so we have a fun little bet going! I guess we will find out in a little over 2 weeks!!

11 Week/ 12 Weeks

I had a little bit of a scare and thought something was wrong with the baby while I was at work yesterday.   I started getting this really sharp pain in my belly and it really worried me.   I left work and went to the ER.   They checked the baby and everything is fine with it.   I still have the pain, thinking it might be an ovarian cyst or something but its getting really sharp and really painful.   which is why I am writing in the blog at 3 AM.   When they did the ultrasound to check the baby yesterday it was the MOST amazing thing i had ever seen in all my life.   Baby was doing summersaults and kicking and waving its arms and hands.  It was just completely enjoying growing.  It was so adorable you can see its little fingers and little toes, its eyes and ears and face.   Its not a little bean anymore.   It was moving all over the place in there it was amazing I couldn't feel it moving around in there. It was the best moment of my life.   I can't wait till its born.   hopefully  this pain will go away, but sooooo glad that the baby is doing good and growing well.   I thought I was only 11 weeks but the baby is measuring at 11 weeks and 5 days so second trimester here we come!! :)

10 weeks pregnant

I can't believe I'm only two weeks away from being in my second trimester! Things have been pretty smooth I have had really bad nausea achie hips and back! The prescribed me something for the nausea which didn't really help but it sure helps me sleep! My next appointment is a week and a half away which is kinda scary I'm so excited to hear the baby's heartbeat again! I think I'm going through withdrawls! I kept having nightmares that I had the baby but it didn't have a bed! Needless to say the baby now has a bed! Lol

9 weeks pregnant

This is a major milestone for me! Never in a million years did I ever think I'd make it this far! I'm very pouchy and my boobs are huge!! My nausea is worse then ever and I swear I spent half my shift in the bathroom at work today! My cravings have gotten weirder then ever too I crave things like sloppy Joe with tuna on a chicken patty! Lol Scott I think was disgusted! I am having a hard time with the bending sitting and lifting restrictions! My next appointment is 3 weeks away which is considerably difficult seeing is how I've had 8 ultrasounds within the first 3 weeks of pregnancy! I love being pregnant even though I'm sicker then a dog! Hopefully the next three weeks will fly by for me till I can see and hear my baby again! It's truly the happiest moment I have ever felt!

8 Weeks Pregnant

Sorry Its sideways, I tried to fix it.   8 Weeks pregnant, I'm further then I have ever been.   Baby is very healthy and has a very strong heartbeat 163 beats per minute.   Everything looks really good still and i'm very pleased with the progress.   My boobs hurt, my back hurts, i'm getting fatter in the front... things are changing.    I think Scott is getting more excited as well.   I have had a lot of spot bleeding which has been pretty scary!    I graduated from high risk to semi high risk,   I have lifting, bending, and sitting restrictions.   But instead of going in from two to three times a month to once a month unless anything changes which we are going to be positive and things are going to go perfect!    Everytime I see that little thing on the screen and hear that little heartbeat i fall more and more in love with this baby!   I feel so blessed to be able to create life with the love of my life.  

7 weeks pregnant!

I have made it!! A few more days and I'm farther then I have ever been! The nausea is getting better which is nice but my hips and back just ache all the time! My skin is getting really dry and gross! My boobs still hurt but not as bad! I crave subway almost all the time and i crave salt! We had a scare where I started bleeding but the doc says everything is ok and the bleeding was caused from intercourse! It's tempting to cut Scott off for a while just until I'm further but I love him too much! My next appointment is just a few days away
I will have another ultrasound to see the progress of the baby and I'll hear the heartbeat again! It's a comforting noise! I'll upload photos if I can of my growing peanut! :) keep praying and crossing fingers!!

10/20/11 Ultrasound

Scott and I have a healthy little grain of rice.   Its so small you can hardly tell its there.   We got to hear and see the heartbeat today, which was completely indescribable.   It was so emotional.   It was amazing.   I am so in love with my little bean already.   Its heart was beating at 101 bpm which is very healthy the ultrasound lady said.   Happiest news ever.   I am pretty sure it was the second happiest day of my life!!   First being the day Scott asked me to marry him.   I can't wait until my next ultrasound which will be in two weeks on November 2nd.   I am due the 14th of June!   SUPER HAPPY!!

Well tomorrow is the day.... Ultrasound and hopefully a healthy baby heartbeat! Feeling very nervous, and hopeful at the same time! The only symptoms I seem to feel now is big swollen breasts and a little nausea, but mostly I'm very fatigued! The newest symptom is smells..... Valhalla chicken noodle soup made me throw up.. Which then almost made me cry because I was hungry! Hopefully we will have a sweet little baby ultrasound picture tomorrow to show off!! Fingers still crossed and praying even harder!

10/16/11

I'm still hungry and eating everything! Spaghetti sauce and nacho cheese done get along with baby! This week I have been craving salad smothered in bacon and chicken with purple onions! Most my pregnancy symptoms are gone, I'm still hungry, nauseated and tired! My boobs are swollen and hurt really badly! 4 more days till my ultrasound I can hardly wait! I had some weird discharge the other day that scared me really badly and I was worried about miscarriage again, but that was like two or three days ago and I'm still pregnant so I think it's ok! Still trying to stay positive and hopeful!! Continue the thought and prayers for us!!

The test

I think it was the most shocking moment of my life.   I wasn't sure what to think when I saw that little plus, I laughed, I cried, I screamed... It was a very bipolar moment for someone who is NOT bipolar.   Poor Scott, he is so sweet, he just hugged me.

Follow up Hormone test

10/12/11

I had my follow up to my hormone test and the phlebotomist had to poke me three times, it wasn't very fun.   after running the HGC on the blood the hormone levels doubled!!   BEST NEWS EVER!    I couldn't be happier.   They are very pleased with my progress and want to do an  ultrasound in a week.   I am very excited because we should be able to detect a heartbeat on this next ultrasound.  Very excited, but terrified out of my mind.   I dont want to loose another one.   The doctor says i'm between five and six weeks, but they think closer to six weeks because of my hormone levels.  

Now the fun part,  this week i am experiencing lots of morning sickness (it should be called random all day sickness) (some of this may be too much information so i'm sorry in advance) I'm very gassy, which is gross and i feel bad for scott.   I'm constantly hungry and eating a lot trying to watch that though because i dont want to gain too much weight I have felt some belly stretching and pulling and i can't fit in any of my pants.   I'm wearing pregnant pants because I have a baby pouch already.   (I keep teasing Scott that its twins) he wouldn't like that very much.    So we will give another update next week on how me and baby are doing and how daddy is doing.

My first ultrasound

I had my first ultrasound after taking a positive pregnancy test.    I frantically called the doctor worried it was too late already and I would have to mark a number 3 on the miscarriage totem pole.   It was the most devistating feeling i think i have ever had.    We showed up to the doctors and i went in for an ultra sound.    No baby was found, as i'm too early in the pregnancy, it is too tiny to see. but my endometrium was very very thick which is good and they were very pleased to see how thick it was.   They also did a test to see my hormones and how they are progressing.   My HGC hormone came back at 491 which is really good for how far along I am.    I do have to say even though we couldn't see a little baby bean it was breathtaking to see my ultrasound and where my baby would hopefully soon be.   I scheduled a follow up appointment for two days later to do a follow up on the HGC hormones to see where I am at.   The doctor put me on baby asprin which i will take till i'm about 36 weeks along and i'm taking progesterone to keep my endometrium and my uterus strong to help keep the little guy in there.  I will be taking that for about ten more weeks.  Fingers crossed and praying hard!!
