35 weeks
It's been a while! This pregnancy has been everything but easy and smooth! I shutter at the thought of what the delivery will be like! It makes me so grateful that I have been able to maintain this pregnancy! I love this tiny little miracle growing inside me more than words can express! Babies are always tiny miracles, but when your told you will never have kids, it's a bigger miracle! I have been having lots of Braxton hicks contractions lately! All or part of my mucous plug fell out a few weeks ago! The baby is head down in birthing position and has dropped! She is putting so much pressure on my bladder I should earn frequent flier miles to the bathroom! I am having many sharp pains in my pelvic bone, my lower back is killing me! Nothing sounds better than a hot tub and a massage! I have my 36 week appointment today and hopefully I will have started dialating! As much as I hate the pain and migraines and being sick all the time, I would do it again faster than a heartbeat! I can't wait to be a mother! This is something I have always wanted! I had a beautiful baby shower surrounded by the most amazing people! The gifts were beautiful and now I'm ready to have my daughter come into this world! If labor hasn't started by 38 weeks Scott and I are going to try to induce it slowly and naturally! I have a whole checklist of things to try!
1. The labor smoothie: a combination of rasberries, pineapple, mango, and kiwi blended up and then consumed! Yum!!
2. Accupressure: when gettin close to labor, it's said that if you get a real deep tissue footrub around your heels on your feet this could help contractions begin.
3. Prenatal massage: one of the best ways to naturally and safely induce labor is to relax.
4. Sex: the combination of a males fluids and a females fluids have a natural affect to encourage contractions!
5. Excercise: a simple walk can help bring on contractions!
All of these ways are safe and natural and will only work if your body is close enough for labor to begin!
This has been a long journey and a very hard journey, but I'm so glad I got the chance to come down this road and I wouldn't change a thing!

I did a lot of walking and took blue cohosh its a natural supplement that makes your muscles start contracting. I had James that same day. Both of mine came two weeks early though. I wish you all the best and a quick labor and delivery.
